ZTE Blade X2 5G-ready smartphone

While the U.S. is all set to lead the 5G market in 2019, it’s India that is gearing up to be a key player. Back in December, ZTE has announced the unveiling of its 5G mobile phone.

The company’s Blade X2 comes with Snapdragon 855, which is the most advanced chip from Qualcomm for mobile devices. This allows the phone to deliver amazing connectivity speeds.

At the same time, ZTE has developed its own 5G modem, which would ensure a stable connection with the mobile network.

The Blade X2 also comes with AI capabilities to enhance the device’s image quality and security.

At the moment, there’s no information available on the Blade X2’s specifications or price range, but it is expected to arrive with a €700 price tag.

iQOO Z3 Battery

The Chinese firm claims that the battery on the Z3 is the best on the market, making it a must-have phone for those who want to experience the 5G network right now.

According to the company, it is expected to last two days on a single charge on 3G connections, and about 40 hours of video playback, 9 hours of gaming, and 22 hours of music playback on 4G networks.

The battery is IP68 certified, making it resistant to water and dust.

The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

Even though the device’s marketing will officially kick off from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, CES2019, it hasn’t been revealed when consumers will be able to get their hands on the iQOO Z3.

In order to attract consumers in India, the brand will be launching some affordable smartphones. The models include iQOO Ocean 8, iQOO Ocean Q, and iQOO Phoenix.

The company is targeting the affordable segment to grab a larger market share in the country, especially in smaller cities.

Along with the launch of the phones, the company will be starting its retail presence in India.

The Chinese brand is working with Amazon India to set up its exclusive online store.

Last year, the brand announced the launch of the iQOO Z4 premium 5G-ready phone in China.

Also, last month, the firm showcased a new device, iQOO Ocean Note 2, at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. The device sports a metal frame and a big screen.

The 5G-ready device was also launched in the Philippines with the “prize tag” of PHP5 million.

The company has already created a database of over 1,000 candidates who will be part of the global iQOO Z4 team. It will also provide training to the selected candidates.

The iQOO Z4 is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It supports two SIM cards and a microSD card, along with a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 support.

It comes with a 24-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor on the rear, a 24MP Sony IMX333 sensor on the front, an 8-megapixel selfie-camera, and Bluetooth 5.0.

At CES 2019, the company also unveiled an 8-megapixel AI 2X rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 4x digital zoom and a 5-megapixel depth-sensing camera.
